  1. Awesome! I will try to remember to take a pic of my tattoo and post it. I've honestly been thinking about getting another one... I don't think I will for awhile do to other costs like paying for my minivan so I can lug the kids around, but one day I'd like to do something for each of my kiddos like a budding tree or butterflies :)

    1. Thanks for commenting, Micah's mom! I'd love to see a pic when you get a chance. I hope "Good Ink, Bad Ink" readers will share their pictures whenever they like.

      Peace,
      Casey

  2. My roommate had this friend in college and she had like, 8 or 9 really small, inconspicuous tattoos. I was out with my roommate one night when she joined our table and started talking about them. She made the comment that she only chose small tattoos so if she got them removed later it wouldn't be as painful. When someone asked why she listed two reasons; one being when she got married, she didn't want any tattoos showing, and two because she tried to hide them from her mom due to the fact her parents still paid her rent and would be upset if she was spending her money on such things. (Which both are ridiculous, in my opinion. Why would you ink your body if you planned on getting it removed later? And yeah, maybe if you shouldn't spend your parents moolah on tats. Also, in my opinion).
So, maybe a possible societal impact of laser tattoo removal is that the notion encourages us to make choices, important ones (in theory, the permanent nature of tattoos), that we wouldn't normally. That removals, our epidermis re-do's, is catering to a specific culture, where nothing is forever, and consequences are irrelevant.

    1. Very interesting point, Chelsi. Thank you for bringing that to the table. I have heard several people say they waited to get tattoos after they were married so they were not tattooed on their wedding day, but I guess your roommate's friend wasn't thinking that way!

      Peace,
      Casey
